Work Begins in Otay Mesa for Cross-Border Air Terminal

Jun 6, 2014 | Newsroom

A $78 million cross-border terminal is being built on the Otay Mesa side of the U.S.-Mexico border that will give airline passengers access to Tijuana’s Rodriguez International Airport.  Ground was broken on June 4 for the 95,000-square foot terminal which is set for completion in 2015. HELIX prepared the Environmental Impact Report (EIR) for this project, as well as the federal Environmental Assessment necessary to secure a presidential permit from the State Department for the new border crossing.
