New Sacramento Regional Manager

HELIX CEO Mike Schwerin announced on August 24, 2011 that HELIX founder Dave Claycomb has accepted the position of Sacramento Area Regional Manager.  “Dave brings a wealth of personal and corporate experience to our Sacramento area operations,” said Schwerin, adding that “this greatly improves our ability to provide high-quality environmental consulting service throughout Northern and Central California.”  Dave Claycomb has over 30 years of experience in the environmental planning field and has managed the environmental compliance processes for 100s of major land development and large-scale infrastructure projects throughout California.

Claycomb, who stepped down from the HELIX CEO position in 2008, indicated that he “is refreshed and ready for a new challenge.”  He is also “excited about the opportunity to work with Matt Fremont in our Auburn office to build a foundation for success for HELIX in the Sacramento region.”

Mr. Claycomb will continue to serve as a member of the HELIX Board of Directors and participate in company strategic planning efforts.
