HELIX Named in Top 5 “Best Firms to Work For” by ZweigGroup

HELIX Environmental Planning has been named as one of the 2016 Best Firms to Work For by ZweigGroup. Placing fourth in the environmental category for firms across the U.S. and Canada, HELIX is recognized for the ability to inspire teams to perform at their highest levels and create an environment where their people feel valued, can make a difference, and can clearly see their contribution to the overall mission and success of the firm.

 
In surveys that were utilized during the award evaluation, the top phrases that employees used to describe HELIX included “team oriented/collaborative”, “focused on integrity”, “client-focused”, and “flexible”. HELIX was also noted as having a caring/philanthropic/compassionate score that was 16% higher compared to industry benchmarks.

The ZweigGroup’s Best Firms to Work For list began in 2001, recognizing top architecture, structural engineering, civil engineering, environmental, and multi-disciplinary firms across the U.S. and Canada based on criteria including firm culture, workplace practices, employee benefits, employee retention rates, and professional development– all from the perspectives of employees.

 
HELIX and the other winners of this year’s award will be celebrated at the Hot Firm and A/E Industry Awards Conference being held September 22-23 at the Arizona Biltmore in Phoenix, Arizona.
