HELIX Environmental Planning to Acquire Foothill Associates

Effective May 1, 2019, HELIX Environmental Planning will acquire Placer County-based Foothill Associates.

The acquisition will establish HELIX’s Placer County office, the firm’s sixth office within California, allowing it to better serve existing and future clients in Northern California. In addition to the firms’ San Diego headquarters, HELIX also has offices in North San Diego, Sacramento, Orange, and Riverside counties.

Founded in 1995, Foothill Associates is a veteran-owned, California corporation that provides a wide range of environmental consulting, landscape architecture, and planning services to local governments, public agencies, and private clients.

With the incorporation of Foothill Associates staff, HELIX will soon offer a full range of landscape architecture services. Additionally, the acquisition bolsters HELIX’s existing biology, regulatory compliance, Geographic Information System (GIS), and California environmental Quality Act (CEQA)/ National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) capabilities.
