Colusa County Airport Vernal Pools
HELIX Environmental Planning, Inc. (HELIX) conducted a vernal pool habitat assessment for the Colusa County Airport located in Colusa County. The County proposed the installation of an Automated Weather Observation Site (AWOS) to be located in an area that is adjacent to designated critical habitat for vernal pool fairy shrimp. HELIX conducted preliminary habitat assessment for vernal pools for the footprint of the AWOS system and associated utility trenching.
