AEP Award

HELIX was awarded the OUTSTANDING COMMUNITY STEWARDSHIP Award from the San Diego Chapter of the Association of Environmental Professionals at its annual awards ceremony on October 7. HELIX was recognized as a small company with BIG COMMUNITY OUTREACH. Many HELIX employees generously donate their time and talent to worthwhile charitable organizations in order to support and enrich the communities in which they live and work. As a company, HELIX sponsors numerous events and charities each year through corporate and employee participation and giving. The company’s commitment to environmental stewardship is evidenced by ongoing support of local organizations including the San Diego Habitat Conservancy, San Diego River Park Foundation, and the San Diego Botanic Garden. HELIX also contributes to community enrichment through established relationships with such organizations as the Boys and Girls Club, San Diego YMCA, American Cancer Society, Expanding Your Horizons Network, Ronald McDonald House Charities, SAY San Diego, numerous schools and colleges, the Angelman Syndrome Foundation, and the Riverside County Regional Medical Center.
