2010 Turf and Landscape Institute Conference

HELIX Landscape Architect Brad Lewis ASLA, LEED® AP, will be a featured speaker at the 2010 Turf and Landscape Institute Conference on December 15 at the Etiwanda Gardens Conference Center in Rancho Cucamonga. This is the largest annual educational program offered through UC Cooperative Extension in the Southern Region and attracts over 400 professionals each year. This year’s conference offers sessions in Sustainable Landscaping, Arboriculture, and a third session on Landscape Management presented in Spanish. Mr. Lewis will provide a presentation on the HELIX Headquarters Landscape Conversion project , which was selected by the Sustainable Sites Initiative (SITES) as one of the first landscapes to participate in a new program testing the nation’s first rating system for green landscape design, construction and maintenance.
