Initially starting with HELIX years ago as an intern, Stephen has grown in his career through exceptional performance to now oversee a team of restoration specialists focused on the planning, implementation, and maintenance of ecological restoration and mitigation projects across Los Angeles County and neighboring areas throughout Southern California. With our restoration team he works side-by-side with our biologists, arborists, environmental planners, environmental compliance specialists, and Geographic Information Systems (GIS) staff throughout the planning, design, and implementation phases of a project to ensure a seamless transition, necessary compliance, and successful development.

Stephen has experience planning, implementing, monitoring, maintaining, and reporting of more than 100 restoration projects across diverse habitats including desert, alkali marsh, vernal and toad pools, wetlands, chaparral, oak woodlands, riparian, riverine, grasslands, meadows, and cut and fill slopes. He is an active member of the California Society for Ecological Restoration (SERCAL).

Please join us in celebrating Erik’s and Stephen’s career accomplishments and recent promotions! We look forward to their continued contributions to our growing, successful team at HELIX.
