Habitat Restoration Technician – Rancho Cordova

HELIX’s Construction Group, an environmental construction and habitat restoration company, is seeking to fill a Habitat Restoration Technician Position at our Rancho Cordova, CA location.

Responsibilities/Duties

  • Non-native species removal
  • Mowing/weed whipping
  • Herbicide application
  • Plant installation
  • Irrigation installation
  • Travel for out of town projects as needed

Minimum Qualifications

  • 1+ yrs. General Labor Experience or related experience
  • 1+ yrs. Landscaping Experience or related experience
  • Be safety minded
  • Must have strong communication skills
  • Be able to stand for extended periods of time
  • Work in a variety outdoor weather patterns
  • Be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Walk in a variety of uneven surfaces and slopes
  • Knowledge of native plants and weed species a PLUS

Compensation

$17.50-$21/hour, or dependent on experience. Excellent benefits package included.
