SWPPP Development and Monitoring

HELIX provides storm water compliance services as they relate to the Construction General Permit (CGP).  HELIX staff, which include QSP/QSD-certified personnel, can provide storm water services such as:

• Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP) development
• Water Pollution Control Plan (WPCP) development
• Best Management Practices (BMP) monitoring
• Discharge sampling and reporting

HELIX also can conduct sediment/siltation monitoring, water quality evaluations, and biological assessments of impacted waterways related to storm water compliance.

HELIX provides a suite of services centered upon environmental compliance prior to and during project implementation.  These services include:

• Environmental permit compliance
• SWPPP creation, monitoring and reporting
• Biological monitoring
• Noise monitoring
• Air quality compliance

All of these services are provided under the umbrella of our Environmental Compliance Practice and are tailored to each individual project depending upon specific needs.  HELIX staff are cross-trained in the various disciplines such that multiple functions are often completed by a single staff member, thereby providing more continuity and cost savings throughout project implementation.
