In-line Aircraft Fueling Station and Aircraft Parking Modifications at Marine Corps Air Station Miramar

MCAS Runway ProjectHELIX Environmental Planning (HELIX) is providing San Diego fairy shrimp basin monitoring for the MV-22 In-line aircraft fueling station construction project on Marine Corps Air Station Miramar in San Diego County. The project involved modifying aircraft parking at P-178 and construction of a new in-line fueling facility at P 180 to support the MV-22 Osprey tilt rotor aircraft. HELIX monitors San Diego fairy shrimp basins whose watersheds were impacted, and/or occur within 500-feet of the project site to include monitoring water quality, hydrology, and sediment. In addition, HELIX continues to provide quarterly vernal pool monitoring and reporting, and annual reporting to comply with the Water Quality Monitoring and Management Plan (WQMMP).
