Project Manager
-San Diego office
The Project Manager position requires an individual with a minimum of 5 years experience in the preparation of CEQA and/or NEPA compliance documents (not including technical studies), including at least 1 year of project management experience. Candidates must possess excellent writing and communication skills. Experience with a variety of infrastructure and development project types, CEQA and/or NEPA document types and private sector/public agency clients is desirable.
Requirements:
Bachelors degree (or equivalent) in an environmental science, planning or related field.
Minimum 5 years experience in the preparation of CEQA and/or NEPA compliance documents, including at least 1 year of experience in the management of CEQA and/or NEPA compliance projects.
Excellent writing and communication skills.
Additional skills considered a plus:
Masters or PHD degree in environmental science, planning or related field.
Experience assessing impacts of transportation projects.
Experience in proposal preparation and marketing of consulting services.
Educational background or experience in a specialty area (e.g., archaeology, noise/acoustics, air quality, agriculture or water quality) and an interest in developing/providing consulting skills in that area, in addition to the provision of CEQA/NEPA generalist services.
Knowledge of southern California environmental and regulatory setting.
Biology Group Manager Position

Responsibilities include managing biological survey, habitat restoration, and construction monitoring projects as well as Biology Group staff. The position also will include resource agency consultation, client coordination, and preparation of proposals and related marketing support. Candidates must have a minimum of a Bachelors degree in an environmental science or equivalent, biology, or related field; 10 or more years experience carrying out biology and/or habitat restoration projects; at least 3 years project management experience; excellent writing and communication skills; and the ability to complete projects within time and budget constraints.
