Coastal California gnatcatcher (February 15 through August 31)

Coastal California Gnatcatcher breeding season has begun! Surveys for this species can be completed year-round, but it is preferred to have them completed between February 15 and August 31. A minimum of three site visits (at least seven days apart) is required.
