In The Community

At HELIX, we take pride in supporting the communities in which we live and work. We mentor small businesses through the SANDAG and Caltrans Calmentor program. We serve an official pit stop for Bike to Work Day. We plant native oaks and shrubs for the American River Parkway Foundation and help to restore local canyons with San Diego Canyonlands. We make lunches to nourish families at Rady Children’s Hospital through Ronald McDonald House Charities. We lead hands-on workshops to educate and inspire girls in the areas of science, math, and engineering.

Each year, HELIX donates a percentage of profits to five charitable organizations selected by HELIX employees. Additionally, HELIX’s Volunteer Committee organizes opportunities for our employees and their families to generously donate their time and talent to local charitable organizations and outreach activities throughout the year. Our philanthropic efforts are rewarded by seeing the difference we make in our local environment and in the lives of others.
